Sesame Street in Communities

Through a recent grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, KSPS supports rural families, educators, and child care providers in Eastern Washington with resources from the Sesame Street in Communities program while also celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sesame Street.

Join KSPS at these community and educational outreach events to celebrate all things Sesame.

Green Bluff Fall Harvest Festival

(October 11 ~ 12:00-4:30pm)

During this event, you will have the opportunity to take pictures with a walk-around Elmo, share your favorite Sesame Street memories, and receive free Sesame Street giveaways.

Sesame Street Story Times at County Libraries~ 10:30-11:30am

Oct 12 ~ Deer Park Library – 208 S Forest Ave, Deer Park, WA 99006

Oct 19 ~ Airway Heights Library – 1213 S Lundstrom St, Airway Heights, WA 99001

Oct 26 ~ Cheney Library – 610 1st St, Cheney, WA 99004

During this event, you can take pictures with walk-around Elmo, Cookie Monster or Abby Cadaaby. There will be Sesame Street Read-Aloud Books and FREE take-home Sesame Street books and educational resources.
